Wellness is an important part of everyone’s life! The Wellness faculty recognizes that the development of good physical, emotional, social, and intellectual skill is directly related to one’s quality of life. Therefore, we have developed a comprehensive four-year educational curriculum based upon District, State and National standards that engages students in activities that develop wellness skills through effective communication, critical thinking and problem solving opportunities. Providing students with the opportunity to develop the mind, body and spirit is the driving force behind our courses, assessments, and activities. Whether students are researching and preparing international foods, discussing family relations, developing safe driving skills in a simulator, or operating successfully as a team member, our focus is on life skills. We recognize that we have a moral obligation to the future healthy lives of our students. Our goal is to teach the skills that will allow our students healthy lifestyles, now and in the future.
