Novelist

When using Novelist from home (username—snc303; password—stars)

1. Go to District 303’s website: www.d303.org
2. On the left column click on “Schools.”
3. Under the heading “High Schools,” click on “North.”
4. In the left column click on “LRC.”
5. You will see four headings on the LRC page: Databases, Searches, Resource Links, and Services.  Click on “Databases.”
6. Click on “EBSCODatabases.”
7. Click on “Novelist.”
8. You will see six tabs at the top of the page.  Click on “Search Our Database.”
9. Now you can choose how you want to search for a novel.  I would suggest clicking on “Find a Favorite Title.”
10. Type the name of the title and click on “Search.”(you can also check areas under the “limiters”—levels, number of pages, format, etc.).
