The St. Charles North High School Guidance Department provides assistance to students in a variety of areas, such as college and career planning, personal or academic counseling, and all aspects of scheduling. Counselors will send for students at various times throughout the year, however, students should feel free to make an appointment with their assigned counselor whenever necessary. To do that, a student may stop by and see if his/her counselor is available during the student's free period, or before/after school. If the counselor is unavailable, the student can either sign up on the counselor's schedule (just return later at the time signed up for) or fill out a "Request to See Your Counselor Form" (and the counselor will send for student at the first available time). Parents are encouraged to contact their child's counselor to schedule an appointment, leave a message or ask a question.

In addition, we have a part-time career specialist who is available to organize job shadow experiences and discuss career plans with community businesses, students and parents. She will be at North on Wednesdays, as well as Thursday afternoons. Her contact information is:

We also have an Assistant Principal who is in charge of the entire Pupil Personnel Services Department (PPS), which includes Guidance Counselors, Deans, Social Workers, Nurses, Psychologists and the Police Laison.
