Greetings from Mr. Kyle!
Welcome to the Haines Middle School web page.
Haines
is one of three St. Charles CUSD #303 middle schools that
provide academic and affective education for students in the
cities of St. Charles and South Elgin. Haines serves grades
6-8 and has an enrollment of approximately 1120 students.
The primary organizational structure is interdisciplinary
teaming (ex: social studies, literacy, science, and math)
in heterogeneous groups. Students are homogeneously grouped
for some learning support and gifted classes.
Haines Middle School enjoys a reputation for excellence in
academics and co-curricular activities. In 2005-2006, Haines was nationally recognized by the U.S. Department of Education with a Blue Ribbon nomination. Haines was one of three middle schools nominated in the entire state of Illinois. Our talented and dedicated
teaching staff emphasizes active learning and age appropriate
opportunities for students.
We are dedicated to the District 303 Vision Statement;
• Attain Excellence
• Learn with Passion
• Live with integrity
in a changing world.
Haines is fortunate to have excellent hard-working students,
dedicated teachers, supportive parents, and a committed community.
Feel free to browse through our web site and learn more about
our school. Mr. Otterby and the Computer Club students help
keep the Haines web site accurate and current. If you have
any questions, call me at 630-377-4824, or via e-mail at Charles.Kyle@d303.org
Sincerely,
Charles A. Kyle
