Homework Welcome to the busy bees in the first grade classes at Davis Elementary. We are all getting into our routines nicely. We have just a few notes and reminders. It is important that first grade students remember to bring their Math Home Links back to school after completing their homework. Please sign and initial each Home Link. The majority of this homework is given Monday through Thursday. Most of the time there will not be a Home Links lesson ove the weekend. On Fridays, the students will be bringing home their word banks. These are file boxes with words on index cards. Please go over these words with your child and have him/her practice these words and return them to school the following Monday. Poetry notebooks will come home over the weekends except for the students in Miss Lueck's and Mrs Scott's classes. Your child will have special words highlighted, underlined, and/or circled. They should be familiar with the poems. Please check our website periodically for updates on trips and exciting new information about our classes.
